Hi, I was on your server last night and had a good time AND made comment about how much I enjoyed playing on it. Anybody on last night would clearly have seen that I am far from a "great" player. I enjoyed the no run aspect of your server. I joined tonight and met Tiger and he and I had a 1 on 1 on Killhouse, which I won. We then moved on to the next map, when again 1 on 1 I found my self kicked and banned from the server for 500 minutes just after the game started. I have probably been playing online games longer than most of you or at least as long and as my name suggests neither am I 16 years of age! If Tiger thought I was hacking then he perhaps he could at least have had the decency to say so and given me a chance to dispute this. I have been a member of clans before and have never ever been accused of cheating. I fully respected your rules and would never break them. I would appreciate an explanation for this kick. IF any one of you wishes to inspect the files on my machine then please contact me. I look forward to your response. Regards Keith
keith, the first thing i need to know is if the message displayed indicated if it was a punkbuster ban or an admin decision? I will look into this matter personally as it involves accessing our server. I will unban you in the morning pending further investigation and will speak with tiger in order to resolve this matter. Hi, I would be lying if I said I knew for sure, BUT I have been kicked by punkbuster before for other non contentious reasons, and on this occasion I didn't see these words come up. Given my age and my poor memory I recall that I was kicked for 500 minutes for hack patch - these are the only words I remember seeing. I have never played against Tiger on your server before and we were only playing one on one. Then game was closely matched to start with and then I took the advantage. I did try to communicate with him on a couple of occasions with a smiley face etc but NEVER spoke with him or abused him in any way. I play Killhouse a lot as like the map and a look at my favourite list will also confirm that. Thanks for looking into it for me. Keith
I would suggest that if you got kicked for a hack/patch it was a Punkpuster issue. Tiger is a fair player and I doubt she would kick you at all. MadMax will get to the bottom of it and I'm sure you will be back on in no time.
Hope you get it sorted SilverFox saw you playing other night and i saw nothing contentious, dont think Tiger would have banned you without giving you a couple of warnings for whatever it was she thought you where doing. So it could have been a PB ban I have had these myself for no reason. Hope this gets sorted out soon and see you on server soon. Hello again, I was surpised by the kick myself. I am familiar with the BF2 recon but not the COD4 system and thus dont know if it's possible to check the previous games to see what actually went on. If I had known Tiger was a girl I may have let her win being a gentleman :) My K/D ratio is actually negative. I can get back on the server now as the 500 minute ban seems to have been lifted. I have no desire to cause grief with anybody as it's not in my nature. I am very against cheats, hacks and macros etc. If any of you have played bf2 before, which i'm sure you have, you'll know how bad it was/is. I only want to play the game for fun. If I win great, If i get Pnwed - great. It'a all in the game. Thanks again for your interest. Cya'll soon. ;>
You should now be able to grt back into our server as I have un-baned you, turns out it was a punkbuster ban after all. If this happens again please PM me and I will take some punkbuster screenshots of you in game and change the log file to suit. Hope to shoot you soon
